Bloggers Hub HACKED

The NB Blog Hub has been hacked.  That explains all the graphic clutter you see on the page at the moment.  I'm hoping Blogger will be able to help me clean it up, but in the event they can't, I've started another NB Blog site.  http://nbbloggershub.blogspot.ca/ It will take me a while to get all 89 blogs moved over there but there are 20 of the most recently updated there at the moment and more will be added as time permits.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  Hackers are a pain in the ass.

July 20 Hub Update

Did another editing job on the old, unused Blogs today.  The Hub now stands at 90 entries.  I delete those which haven't been updated in a year. There's still some great content on the blogs that are active, so take a few moments to look through them and see what some of our fellow New Brunswickers are writing about.  The newest addition to blog is Pickle Planet Moncton .  Check out the content there. Now that it's warming up, Happy June!  :)

NB Bloggers Hub Update

Quick update to the Blog Hub today.  Removed a few blogs that haven't been updated in a year and re-added James Wilson's "Maple Monarchists" blog.  (http://maplemonarchists.weebly.com/)  Due to the way weebly.com works, the Blog doesn't show up on the regular list, but it will appear at the bottom of the list if you would like to check it out.  97 Blogs remain on the Hub.  Some great content there, so take the time to browse the titles.  Enjoy the rest of January!  :)

Blog Update 26 December 2016

Update done today.  The Hub now stands at an even 100 blogs, which is still pretty darned good. Some people are great at updating their blogs and others are like me!  :( Thanks to all Bloggers for the work that you do in maintaining your blogs and keeping the interest up. Happy New Year!

Blog Hub update 17 May 2016

The tardy updating of this Blog Hub has happened again for the first time in a few months.  The blog count now stands at 120 with the addition of two new blogs today.  Stuart Liptay and the folks at the Albert County Historical Society have added their interesting historically themed blog " The Albert County Museum & RB Bennett Commemorative Centre " blog to the list and Joe Tilley is back with an updated version of the " New Brunswick Kayak Fishing Blog ".  Check them both out by clicking on the titles in this message. The list of updated blogs above shows only the ten most recently updated on the Blog Hub.  To see all of them, click on the Show All link in the lower right hand corner of the list. Happy Reading!  Thanks to everyone who maintains a blog as a labour of love.  It makes for an interesting picture of this beautiful province!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from the Hub!

Another NB Bloggers Hub update

Hello blog fans.  The culling continues with the NB Bloggers Hub.  From a high of nearly 400 blogs a couple of years ago, this Hub is now down to 119.  The oldest update now is about 10 months ago, based on some culling I just did.  Interesting to note that since the Hub started, it has been visited 19,769 times by netizens looking for information/entertainment or both. If you know of any blogs or author any that should appear in the Hub, just let me know. Happy reading!

NB Bloggers Hub update

We welcome two new blogs to the New Brunswick Bloggers Hub today.   The first is “ Take A Walk In My Shoes ” by Terri, a personal blog focused on Terri and her family.   Second is “ From Menus to Venues Wedding Planning “ by Haley Evans,   a wedding planning specialist located in Saint John.   Check out both of them. Just a reminder that I continue editing the blog list to remove old blogs.   With the two newest additions, the list is now at 203 blogs with another editing job scheduled within the next few weeks. Also, please note the ad for the Atlantic BlogJam happening in Halifax in October, 2015.   It’s a great opportunity for bloggers from this region to come together and share blogging techniques and experiences. Hope you continue to enjoy your summer!   J

Update to Hub listings 24/05/2015

Update to Hub listings 24/05/2015 Added two new blogs today.  The list now stands at  247 entries.  It has been awhile since there has been an update to the Blog list - mainly because there have been no nominations.  It has to do with the diminishing popularity of the Blog as a means of communication.  I will continue to maintain the Hub and hope you enjoy the entries of the people who own the Blogs listed here. If you have a Blog you would like added to the Hub, send me an e-mail . Thanks.

NB Bloggers Hub has been edited - finally!

I added one new blog to the Hub today, "The Lost Valley - Blogging the History of Saint John, N.B.".  Ron's done some great work on his blog.  Please check it out. I’ve been promising to do some editing on the NB Bloggers Hub for awhile now, but never seem to have the time to get around to it.   Today, I found the time to go through the blog and do some editing.   The basic criteria for determining what stayed and what was removed was how often the blog is updated.   I used an arbitrary measure of all blogs not updated within the last year have been removed from the list.   87 of them were removed.   Thanks to the creators of the these blogs for their energy, creativity and original ideas contained within them.

Happy Labour Day Canada!
